About the Role
- The Warehouse Technician duty is to make sure the gear is returned after coming back from shows, and ready to go back out on the next show. This includes gear maintenance, tagging items that need serviced, cleaning, and repairs if needed. The Warehouse Team is very vital to the operations of the company, being the back bone behind the scenes and supporting our tech staff by making needed runs with our fleet of vehicles and performing certain tasks as needed.
Requirements
Necessary Skills/Job Requirements:
Computer literacy in Windows and Mac OS including MS Office Suite and rental operations software such as Flex Rental Solutions
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends as necessary
Strong customer service aptitude with a focus on Customer Satisfaction
Strong teamwork abilities
Show/Theater Experience is a plus.
The ability to work without supervision to achieve company goals as dictated by the Company President and Director of Production
The ability to lift items upwards of 50 lb. and perform various physical tasks as necessary including climbing ladders, using power tools, painting, cleaning and construction
A clean driving record and the ability to operate vans, box trucks, forklifts, vehicles towing trailers, scissor and personnel lifts etc.
The ability to be “on-call” on nights, weekends and holidays as necessary
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Work with the Operations Manager and Warehouse manager to prepare and quality check outbound rental and production orders and pull sheets and quality check in-bound equipment
Use Flex Rental Solutions Software to scan back shows and to prep shows.
Clean Equipment as needed.
Take and/or Update Inventory.
Maintain an organized workplace at all times, on the job and in the warehouse
Conduct preventative equipment maintenance
Operate company owned and rental vehicle fleet to deliver and return equipment from Production and Rental customers
Function as an ambassador of the company at all times, working to present a positive image of NPi Audio Visual Solutions
Secondary Job Responsibilities:
Assist with rental and production deliveries and pickups as necessary
Assist customers over the phone with rental questions and orders
Enter orders into Flex, generate pull sheets and invoices as necessary
Perform minor repairs as necessary, coordinate major repairs with vendors
