About the Role
- Innovative and growing Cleveland based Commercial Integrated Audio Video Company is seeking Installation Technicians to work in collaboration with a team of engineers, fabricators, project managers, and programmers to achieve a successful installation, test, and closeout of each assigned project for a wide range of commercial customers.
-Installation of various commercial high-end audio-video equipment including equipment racks, system devices, displays, speakers and video conferencing systems
-Ability to read construction prints, comprehend engineering drawings and product specification sheets
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as, interpersonal skills
-Assist with testing of system components to assure system completeness and convention
-The Installation Technician is responsible for maintaining assigned equipment inventory, and assigned tools
-Provide daily communication to the team and customers
-Handles other duties relative to the job as assigned by management
-Follows and maintains proper safety practices
-Installation and configuration industry-leading solutions by:
Extron, NewTek, QSC, Bi-Amp, Microsoft
CTS, CTS-I, and CTS-D certifications a plus
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent as a prerequisite
Experience installing audio-visual, teleconferencing, corporate video, control systems and related systems preferred
Experience as a mechanic, carpenter, or HVAC tech are also acceptable
Experience using hand tools of the A/V and electronic related trades is a plus. This is inclusive of, but not limited to, wire strippers and crimpers for varying types of wires and cables, soldering tools/techniques and construction techniques
Must maintain a valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Open to someone with a strong mechanical aptitude
