About the Role

    Innovative and growing Cleveland based Commercial Integrated Audio Video Company is seeking Audio Visual System Programmer to work in collaboration with a team of engineers, fabricators, project managers, and installers and technicians to achieve a successful installation, test, and closeout of each assigned project for a wide range of commercial customers.

    -Assist with testing of system components to assure system completeness and convention

    -The Installation Technician is responsible for maintaining his assigned equipment inventory, and assigned tools

    -Provide daily communication to the team and customers

    -Handles other duties relative to the job as assigned by management

    -Follows and maintains proper safety practices

    -Installation and configuration industry-leading solutions by:
    Extron, NewTek, QSC, Bi-Amp, Microsoft
    CTS, CTS-I, and CTS-D certifications a plus

    Current Certifications are recommended but not required.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent as a prerequisite

  • Experienced of 3 years or more in AV System programming of DSP and Control Systems that include but are not limited to: AMX, Extron, RTI, QSYS, Cisco, BiAmp

  • Experience in switch programming via CLI is a plus

  • Ability to read construction prints, comprehend engineering drawings and product specification sheets

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills

  • Experience installing audio-visual, teleconferencing, corporate video, control systems and related systems preferred

  • Experience as a mechanic, carpenter, or HVAC tech are also acceptable

  • Experience using hand tools of the A/V and electronic related trade is a plus. This is inclusive of, but not limited to, wire strippers and crimpers for varying types of wire and cable, soldering tools/techniques and construction techniques

  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license with clean driving record

  • Open to someone with a strong mechanical aptitude
